Overview of programs and deadlines

Funding requests are managed by five Readiness Support Partners through four application streams that each have different funding cycles that will run until March 1, 2023.

COMMUNITY-LED (OUTSIDE-QUEBEC)

Community Foundations of Canada (CFC)

The Community Foundations of Canada had their funding cycle open from September 29-November 22, 2022.  Please visit their website for updates on successful applications.

QUEBEC- BASED

Chantier de l’économie sociale

Chantier de l’economie sociale concluded their funding cycle on March 1, 2023.  Please visit their website for updates on successful applications.

WOMEN LEADERS

Canadian Women’s Foundation (CWF)

40 grants across the 3 cycles of this 2-year funding program with each grant funded up to a maximum of $50,000.

BIPOC LEADERS

National Association of Friendship Centres (NAFC)

The NAFC closed their second funding cycle for the IRP on February 13, 2023.  NAFC supports Friendship Centres across Canada as well as other social purpose organizations that primarily serve Indigenous communities.

Foundation for Black Communities

The Foundation for Black Communities (FFBC) will be announcing the successful applicants to their funding cycle in early March 2023.  The Foundation supports Black-led or Black-serving social purpose organizations.
